Job informationCork, County Cork, IrelandCompany: BitrecruitClient / Employer: OccupopJob reference: 4bd55bfa94bbf81f81aa34cfdc415572Posted: 20.05.2026Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the full management, budgeting, estimating through construction to final accounts of electrical projects of various sizes.Ensure that all contractual requirements are met and provide guidance and oversight to the construction team.Identify potential commercial risks and report them promptly to management.Review and update monthly progress reports to accurately reflect remeasurements, site variations, additional work, and any claims.Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.Forecast turnover and cash flow for the projects.Evaluate and oversee the commercial aspects of all projects to ensure accurate and trustworthy reporting.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies affecting electrical and mechanical systems.Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and SkillsRelevant 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying.Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor within the construction industry, with exposure to mechanical or electrical projects.Strong commercial awareness.Previous experience working with an M&E contractor is favorable.Comfortable using Microsoft Office and generating detailed monthly reports.Positive attitude, passion to learn and succeed, energetic approach, and a willingness to take accountability.Why Join Rockwell?We provide a competitive salary that reflects your experience and qualifications.
