Our client is one of Ireland’s largest and most respected Tier 1 building contractors, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and civil sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now seeking a Senior Engineer for upcoming residential developments in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day engineering activities on site
Set out and level the site using total stations, GPS, and laser levels
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site staff
Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and subcontractors
Monitor and report on progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
Review drawings and ensure compliance with specifications and building regulations
Lead QA/QC documentation and inspections
Attend site meetings and provide technical input and solutions
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
7+ years of site engineering experience
Strong background in high-density residential and housing developments
Proficient in setting out using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment
Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety standards
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
