Staff Nurse - Day Services Permanent, full time contract The successful candidate must: Be on the current register as maintained by NMBI (formerly An Bord Altranais) and preferably possess the RNID or RGN qualification Have experience and motivation for working with adults with an Intellectual Disability Commitment to support development and delivery of Person Directed Plans Commitment to engaging with the local community and exploring options for adults within their community Proficiency in using computers (Word, Excel) Full clean driving license and a willingness to drive as part of the role Desirable Experience: Experience as a registered nurse working with people with an intellectual disability and positive behavior support Excellent communication skills Flexible in all aspects of work Working a part of a multi-disciplinary team Applications will be short-listed on the information supplied in the Curriculum Vitae and a panel may be formed from which future vacancies will be filled.
