Overview
Nemeton TV is inviting applications for the position of Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. Established in 1993, Nemeton TV has a rich history and serves a diverse clientele, including major broadcasters such as TG4, BBC ALBA, Sky Sport, BT Sport, and more. We specialize in sports and factual content production.
Key Responsibilities
* Process customer and supplier invoices, bank payments, and lodgments.
* Maintain accurate records in accounting software.
* Prepare monthly reports for Management.
* Conduct bank reconciliations.
* Respond to finance-related queries from customers, suppliers, and staff.
* Ensure expenses align with company controls.
* Share ideas for process improvements.
* Debt control.
* Actively participate in extending knowledge of the Irish language and culture.
* Carry out other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
* Third-level qualification (or in Training) in Accounting or Business.
* Working knowledge of financial systems (experience with Sage & Big Red Cloud is advantageous).
* Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
* Irish language skills would be advantageous but not essential.
