Quantity Surveyor – Limerick OR Kildare
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and commercial reporting on site. The role involves subcontractor account management, variation control, and supporting overall project commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and certify subcontractor payment applications.
* Manage variations, reworks, dayworks, and claims.
* Track site instructions and maintain a variation log.
* Assist with interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reporting.
* Support cash flow forecasting, budget control, and risk management.
* Assist with subcontract procurement and contract administration.
* Work closely with the site team to track progress and cost impacts.
* Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure compliance.
Requirements
* 2+ years' experience
in a Quantity Surveying role.
* Strong experience with subcontractor accounts and variations.
* Good knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT, RIAI).
* Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and commercial software.
* Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
* Based in Limerick with flexibility to travel to other sites.
