This role ensures technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration with Transmission System Operators (TSOs). The successful candidate will provide expert leadership in design and commissioning and possess strong knowledge of EU grid codes and legislation.Role And ResponsibilitiesLead and review the design of high-voltage substations and offsite electrical distribution systems.Ensure compliance with EU grid codes and national transmission operator requirements.Provide technical oversight and guidance to specialist Design & Build contractors.Conduct and validate detailed power system studies, including:Load flow analysisShort circuit analysisHarmonic analysisTransient stability studiesDynamic and static modellingDevelop and implement active/reactive power control strategies.Oversee the detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases of power infrastructure projects.Interface directly with TSOs and regulatory bodies to ensure grid code compliance.Support project teams with technical documentation, risk assessments, and design reviews.Stay current with evolving EU legislation and standards related to power systems.Qualifications & Experience:First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life.
