SPAR Eastgate, an award-winning convenience retailer in Cork, is on the hunt for a vibrant and hard-working Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR, Little Island.
You'd be joining our lively fresh food/deli department, crafting delicious sandwiches, salads, and meals daily, all while being part of a warm, friendly team.
Please note: This is a full-time position with an early start at 5am and a fantastic early finish at 2pm. Ideal for someone who enjoys having their afternoons free while still working full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare delicious, food products in our fresh food department.
* Provide support to the management team in the day-to-day operations of the department.
* Ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety procedures.
* Prepare customer orders, both hot and cold.
* Keep the fresh food area squeaky clean and maintained, following our Company Food Safety Policy.
* Dazzle our customers with exceptional service and a smile.
* Handle customer queries with efficiency and professionalism.
* Embrace any other exciting duties assigned by store management.
