The Role:
This role sits within our Medical Devices division. The purpose of the role is to deliver year-on-year sales growth by meeting and/or exceeding annual sales plans; to communicate the clinical and commercial benefits of our product range to enable better patient outcomes and provide cost-effective options to clinical staff within Secondary and Primary Care across the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver year-on-year sales growth by meeting and/or exceeding annual sales plans
* Secure, maintain and service existing business
* Build a sales pipeline and meet strategic growth targets by identifying key growth and new business opportunities
* Develop and implement agreed strategies in all target accounts
* Train customers to use and understand our products and services to best practice standard
* Conduct strategic reviews within the customer base for the largest and/or most strategically important accounts
* Participate in and provide support at relevant exhibitions, sales meetings, and other clinical/sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management
* Take ownership of customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to ensure a positive relationship is developed and maintained, with customer satisfaction paramount
* Develop territory management plans that identify and prioritise activities to achieve business goals
* Promote a positive and professional company image internally and externally
* Complete all administration, reports and requests within guidelines and on time
Products & Customers:
* Our product portfolio includes a range of woundcare products
* We work closely with all disciplines relating to woundcare, including Tissue Viability Nurses, Woundcare Specialists, Public Health Nurses, Consultants, Theatre Clinical Nurse Managers and Procurement teams
The Ideal Candidate:
* A strong sales background with at least 3 years' experience in woundcare, preferably in Secondary and Primary Care sectors
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
* Proven organisational and multi-tasking skills
* High level of self-initiative and self-management, capable of working independently
* Strong relationship/team player skills, with ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team internally and externally
* High level of customer focus and customer service
* Willingness to travel internationally for manufacturer training programmes and clinical meetings as required
