About the Role:
MPA Recruitment are proud to announce that we have been awarded as a supplier to the NHS for Support Services roles across all trust settings in Northern Ireland. These include hospitals, health centres, residential facilities, and community-based services. We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Cleaners to join busy healthcare environments. In this vital role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for patients, staff, and visitors alike. You will play a key part in infection prevention and control, supporting the overall delivery of quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out daily and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, and public areas.
Ensure infection control policies are followed at all times.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and clinical equipment as required.
Safely use cleaning agents and equipment in line with training and Trust guidelines.
Dispose of waste, including clinical waste, in accordance with health and safety protocols.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
Refill supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet rolls.
Follow schedules and checklists, completing cleaning records as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a healthcare, commercial, or public setting
Knowledge of COSHH and infection control procedures (training can be provided)
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Flexibility with shifts and locations, if needed
An Enhanced Access NI disclosure will be required for this post
