This company can ensure long term job security and progression opportunities for the right candidate, market leading salary and flexibility" About the Job Reporting to the Company Accountant the Accounts Technician will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties Key responsibilities Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns Data analysis, reconciliations and other general accounting tasks Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage etc) Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients Assisting with tax return preparation and other compliance tasks Communicating directly with clients and addressing queries in a professional manner Previous experience Previous experience working in a busy office environment (Practice Experience Desirable) Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) OR Part Qualified ACCA/ ACA or CIMA For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ryan Wharry at Hire IQ in complete confidence
