Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring individual care plans are up to date and services are delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
* To ensure Individual Care Plans are up to date and services are delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
* Maintain the highest level of infection control standards as directed by company policy and national best practice guidance.
* Work according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines.
* Provide a nursing assessment of patients admitted to the service.
* Prepare for, participate in and attend ward rounds and other multi-professional meetings.
* Ensure patients' rights are maintained and protected under the Mental Health Act.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of 5+ years post qualification/registration Psychiatric nursing experience.
* A minimum of 3+ years relevant experience in a management position within the area of Psychiatric nursing.
Essential Skills
* An ability to empathise with and understand the needs of others.
* Excellent organisational skills / self-motivated / self starter.
* Excellent verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
* Willingness to work as part of a multi-departmental team.
