Desire to protect employees andenvironment.Responsibilities:SME support in General Safety and High Risk WorkPrograms.SME support in Environmental Programs (Air, water,waste).Provide safety support for new ongoing and new projectsParticipate in local safety teams, audits andinspections, incident investigations, and other safety programs as required.EHS representative for risk assessments, changemanagement impact assessments, training delivery, and contractor management.EHS Assessment and auditing of EHS process and systems inline with Global Safety and EnvironmentStandards.Report out weekly to management and department teams onKPIs in line with EHS objectives/targets (planned vs. actual performanceServe as a leader in demonstrating and implementing astrong EHS culture across the siteThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate aproven track record to influence others, have strong knowledge of safetyprograms and be a convincing communicator with strong interpersonalskills.The ideal candidate is a self-directed, technicallystrong individual who can work in a multi-functionary team environment.MinimumEducational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or relatedSafety or Environmental field of study.
