The Opportunity
A well-established and fast-growing organisation in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to take full ownership of sales strategy, performance, and execution across all channels.
This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, building scalable sales structures, and ensuring consistent delivery against ambitious targets as the business enters its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead all sales activities across residential, commercial, and emerging sectors
Develop and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with company growth plans
Lead, coach, and performance‑manage sales managers and sales teams
Set sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs, ensuring accountability at all levels
Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and senior leadership to ensure smooth delivery from sale to install
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and routes to market
Improve sales processes, CRM usage, reporting, and pipeline visibility
Play a key role in shaping pricing, margin protection, and deal governance
Be a visible leader, setting standards for professionalism, integrity, and customer experience
About You
Proven experience in a Head of Sales / Sales Director / Senior Sales Leadership role
Strong background in B2C and/or B2B sales (renewables, construction, energy, or technical services preferred)
Demonstrated ability to scale sales teams and systems
Commercially astute with strong forecasting and reporting capability
Confident managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Hands‑on leader who leads from the front while building long‑term capability
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment
