Civils/Structural Project Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee complex civils/structural projects across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civils/structural engineering and at least 5 years of experience managing multiple teams and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget management
* Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports
* Manage site teams, motivating staff to achieve high standards
* Liaise with colleagues, architects, consultants, and clients
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met
* Complete paperwork for reporting and actioning
* Maintain quality standards on site
* Coordinate daily site meetings and attend senior management meetings
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in a senior position within an engineering consultancy or construction company
* Experience managing multiple civil teams and projects
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
* Familiarity with the role of assigned certifier under BCAR
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Confident use of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
* Full driving license
