Permanent Whole Time Post University College Cork Library is seeking a Head of Strategic Innovation who will support the University Librarian in driving transformative initiatives that enhance efficiency, user experience, and alignment with institutional goals, building a culture of innovation and evidence-based decision making.
The postholder will be a proactive change leader who will actively identify opportunities and pain points across library activities including defined projects or areas identified for improvement.
They will be a key member of the Library Leadership team sharing strategic oversight of Library services, staff and functions to meet the needs of the University.
You will be an experienced leader with strategic understanding and significant experience in digital transformation, process improvement, or analytics leadership within complex organisations as well as demonstrable success in leading culture change and cross departmental transformation.
You will have personal drive, enthusiasm and professional expertise to provide excellent leadership, working closely and productively with Library staff, and academic and professional services colleagues.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I Salary Scale: €85,266 - €112,323 (Scale B) / €82,333 - €106,704 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
