An exciting opportunity exists for a Person in Charge to join a residential centre, making a difference for people with disabilities to live their best life.
The centre provides day, residential, short breaks, community supports, rehabilitative training, and multi-disciplinary supports underpinned by its vision, mission, core values, and strategic plan. This empowers people with disabilities to live self-directed lives in an equal and inclusive society.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice.
* Lead, supervise, and support nursing and support teams in providing clinical and care support services.
* Ensure compliance with record-keeping legislation and HIQA requirements.
* Contribute to developing and maintaining nursing standards, protocols, and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of care.
Essential Criteria:
* A minimum of 3 years in management or supervisory roles in health or social care.
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or entitled to be registered.
* A relevant management qualification.
* Continuous professional development.
* A proven track record of managing a residential service meeting quality, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
* Strong budget management and report writing skills.
Requirements:
* A full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements and responsibilities.
