We are looking for a commercially driven, well-networked Sales Lead.
The ideal candidate is a genuine hunter.
Someone who has built pipeline from scratch, brought in new logos, and closed strategic deals.
You will bring deep experience in the technology and digital transformation space, with a clear understanding of the language, pain points, and buying journey of the enterprise client.
You will be equally comfortable walking into a room with c-suite and holding a credible, peer-level conversation as you are navigating complex buying groups through to close.
Critically, you will arrive with a network that you can activate from day one.
Working in close partnership with the business development and marketing teams, you will take a senior individual contributor role, owning and building a pipeline of high-value consultancy engagements.
This is a hunter position in a lucrative, high-value market, focused on selling strategic project solutions including digital transformation programmes and technology advisory to C-suite and senior leadership teams across Ireland.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Own new business development, proactively building pipeline from your existing network and through structured outreach and partnership with business development reps and marketing teams.
Sell complex, multi-stakeholder consultancy solutions across digital transformation, technology delivery, and strategic advisory.
Engage C-suite, VP, and Director-level buyers across IT, Operations and Finance functions.
Navigate complex buying groups and procurement processes to drive deals to close.
Partner with Senior Leadership Team on go-to-market strategy, proposition development, and campaign execution.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification through commercial negotiation and contract execution.
Accurately forecast pipeline, track activity, and report on key metrics through CRM.
Represent Cpl at senior industry events, roundtables, and networking forums.
Collaborate with delivery and solutions teams to shape winning proposals and commercial models.
Experience Required
Sales Track Record
Minimum 5 years' B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling consultancy, professional services, or technology solutions.
Proven track record and methodology for closing complex, high-value contracts.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of 3–5x target coverage.
Experience managing 6 – 18 month enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
History of consistently meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets.
Sector & Solution Experience
Deep understanding of the professional services delivery model, specifically regarding billable hour structures, utilisation rates, and margin preservation.
Proven ability to collaborate with delivery teams to scope and staff projects, ensuring commercial models effectively utilise Cpl resources and subject matter experts
Expert-level knowledge of Statements of Work (SOW) and varied commercial structures that align with long-term consultancy engagements.
Experience selling in Digital Transformation, Business Strategy, Data & AI, Technology Optimisation.
Well versed in subjects like cloud migration, ERP/CRM implementation, data & analytics, AI/automation, or enterprise architecture.
Experience working alongside or within a consulting delivery model understanding how projects are scoped, staffed, and delivered.
Stakeholder & Relationship Skills
Comfortable leading conversations at C-suite level.
Experience navigating complex buying committees and multi-threaded deals.
Strong existing network of decision makers across large Irish corporates, multinationals, or public sector - ideally in technology, financial services, pharma/life sciences.
Ability to act as a trusted advisor.
Commercial & Operational
Experience with a variety of commercial and contract structures
Comfortable working with legal, procurement, and finance stakeholders through contract negotiation
Proficient in CRM usage and disciplined in pipeline management
