Role Purpose
The Junior HR Business Partner will support the delivery of HR services and initiatives for employees and managers across the company's Spanish entities. This role will act as a trusted HR contact, providing guidance on employee relations, HR policies, talent management, performance processes, and employment legislation while ensuring alignment with local Spanish labor requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering Support
Partner with managers and employees across Spanish business units to provide first-line HR support and guidance.
Assist in implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support business objectives.
Support organizational change initiatives and workforce planning activities.
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Ireland and Spain.
Employee Relations
Provide support on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, absence management, and employee wellbeing.
Assist managers in resolving employee issues in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
Escalate complex employee relations cases to senior HR colleagues where appropriate.
Talent Management & Development
Support recruitment and onboarding activities for Spanish entities.
Coordinate employee development initiatives and training programs.
Assist with talent review and succession planning processes.
Support employee engagement initiatives and action plans.
Performance Management
Assist managers and employees throughout the performance review cycle.
Support goal-setting, performance discussions, and development planning activities.
Monitor completion and effectiveness of performance management processes.
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
Support the administration of employment contracts, policy updates, and employee lifecycle processes.
Ensure compliance with Spanish employment legislation and internal company policies.
Assist with HR audits and reporting requirements.
HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare HR reports and metrics relating to headcount, turnover, absence, employee engagement, and recruitment.
Analyse trends and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Maintain data accuracy within HR systems.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Participate in local and global HR projects.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
Support the implementation of new HR initiatives and programs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
1–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or HR Coordinator role.
Strong understanding of core HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment is advantageous.
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
Knowledge of Spanish employment law and HR practices.
Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar.
CIPD qualification (or equivalent) or working towards certification.
