Overview: Wrights of Howth is a well-established family-run restaurant located in the heart of Howth, North Dublin.
We are looking for an experienced and confident Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic front-of-house team and oversee daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment.
This is a key leadership role requiring operational expertise, strong people management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring outstanding service and operational efficiency.
Lead, motivate and develop a strong front-of-house team.
Build and sustain a positive team culture and high-performance environment.
Manage guest interactions and resolve issues with professionalism and speed.
Liaise closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination across all departments.
Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relations with cost control in mind.
Enforce strict hygiene, safety and compliance standards.
Analyze financial reports and implement plans to increase profitability.
Support menu development and in-house promotions aligned with business goals.
Required Experience & Qualifications: 5+ years experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in high-volume settings.
Proven leadership ability with a collaborative and decisive management style.
Commercial awareness and experience managing P&L, budgets, and KPIs.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and team development skills.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
