Commercial & Events Co-ordinator (maternity leave cover)

VIP Publishing – VIP Magazine, & TV Now

Location:
Mainly remote, with presence required for meetings and events in Dublin and around the country

Reports to
: Commercial & Events Director and Commercial Manager

Contract Details:
This is a 6-month maternity cover contract initially, with the potential for a longer-term role for the right candidate.

is home to Ireland's best-loved media brands: VIP Magazine, STELLAR and TV Now. Alongside our print and digital platforms, we produce some of the country's most high-profile events, including the Platinum VIP Style Awards, the Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards and the eir VIP Publishing Power of Women Awards. We're now looking for a Commercial & Events Co-ordinator to join the team and support our sales and events activity.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial / Sales Support

* Support the commercial manager in driving print and digital revenue while delivering excellent client service.
* Coordinate with internal teams (editorial, finance) to ensure smooth campaign delivery and day-to-day sales operations.
* Prepare client proposals, presentations, reports, and maintain accurate sales records and databases.
* Liaise with agencies and clients for timely updates, follow-ups, and pipeline monitoring, highlighting growth or upselling opportunities.
* Contribute insights from client interactions to sales strategy discussions.

Events Support

* Provide admin support for VIP Publishing events (guestlist updates, supplier coordination, prize sourcing, scheduling).
* Assist with sponsorship documentation and partner communication.
* Support on event logistics, budgets and timelines.
* Be present on-site at events (in Dublin and nationwide) to ensure smooth running.

What We're Looking For

* Some experience (internship/entry-level role) in media sales or events, admin is an advantage, but not essential.
* A highly organised multitasker with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
* An enthusiastic, proactive self-starter who is willing to learn
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
* PowerPoint/Canva skills beneficial
* Comfortable with managing AV at small events (training can be provided)
