The Job The role is both technical and business interfacing, the candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills and expertise while also managing project implementation. The Executive Professional will report to the Head of the National Building Control and Market Surveillance Office and will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the statutory and legal framework, national policy and current thinking regarding Building Control and Market Surveillance of Construction Products.
The roles require an excellent technical knowledge of the Building Control Acts, Building Regulations, Building Control Regulations, EU Market Surveillance Regulations, EU Construction Products Regulations, EU Energy Performance in Buildings Regulations, and EU (in-Building Physical infrastructure for High - Speed Electronic Communications) Regulations; the risks for non-compliance, inspection strategies and the BCMS.
They will be able to work within, and lead, multi-disciplinary teams and have the ability to motivate and encourage personnel under their control to achieve maximum performance.
