Sales and Marketing Manager Overview
As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading the strategic growth of our hospitality business through effective sales, marketing, and events initiatives.
This role requires a strong leader to oversee all aspects of the Sales, Marketing & Events function, drive revenue across various market segments, and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive sales, marketing, and events strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
* Manage all digital and offline marketing efforts, including website optimization, social media campaigns, email marketing, and e-zines.
* Lead new business development, account retention, and sales activity to achieve business objectives.
Additionally, this role involves proactive management of commercial plans, overseeing the execution of targets across corporate, GDS, direct bookings, leisure, C&B, F&B, and PR channels.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager or similar role within the hotel sector.
* Strong digital skills: website, booking engine (Avvio), paid social, and email marketing expertise.
* Familiarity with GDS, RFP processes, and revenue strategy is essential.
A confident communicator with a strategic mindset and proven results is highly desirable. In addition, knowledge of Opera and Sales & Catering systems would be advantageous.
