This is a superb opportunity for a Senior Accountant ready to step into a leadership role within a commercially focused, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Youll work closely with a highly experienced Finance Director and play a key role in driving financial performance, systems improvements, and operational efficiency across the business.
The Role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead a finance team of four and take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations while supporting strategic decision-making at senior level.
A strong focus of this role will be on process improvement, automation, and system optimisation, helping modernise and streamline finance operations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a high-performing finance team (4 direct reports) Oversee monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Drive automation and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes Partner with operations and commercial teams to support business performance Manage audits, statutory accounts and compliance requirements Act as finance lead and internal POC for outsourced IT providers Support strategic projects and senior leadership initiatives Act as the internal point of contact for outsourced IT The Ideal Candidate Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 5+ years PQE Currently operating at Senior Accountant / Finance Manager level Proven people management experience Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or similar operational environments advantageous Strong systems, process improvement and automation mindset Commercially astute with strong stakeholder engagement skills The Package Highly competitive base salary Performance-related bonus Employer pension contribution Onsite role initially, with hybrid working potential post-probation Excellent career progression opportunity within a respected Irish business Why Apply?
