Your new companyA long‑established specialist electrical and mechanical contractor with over 30 years' experience is continuing to grow its footprint across data centre and mission‑critical projects throughout the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.The business has built a strong reputation for delivering technically complex electrical infrastructure in environments where resilience, uptime and precision are critical, supporting clients across large‑scale, international programmes.Your new roleThe Electrical Estimator will support an expanding pipeline of data centre and mission‑critical projects across the UK, Ireland and Europe, working closely with commercial, engineering and delivery teams from enquiry through to final tender submission.Preparing accurate and competitive electrical tenders for data centre and mission‑critical projectsProducing detailed estimates across power distribution, containment, cabling, lighting and associated systemsCompleting electrical take‑offs and reviewing drawings, specifications and schedulesIdentifying commercial risks, opportunities and value‑engineering optionsSupporting pre‑ and post‑tender meetings with clients, consultants and supply chain partnersManaging tender queries, clarifications and follow‑upsCollaborating with internal teams to meet programme and submission deadlinesThis role offers genuine exposure to complex, high‑value electrical packages, where commercial judgement and technical accuracy have a direct impact on project outcomes.What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in an electrical estimating or commercial role within building services or critical infrastructureBackground in data centres, mission‑critical, industrial or technically complex projects highly advantageousStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneouslyCommercially astute with excellent attention to detailConfident working independently and as part of a wider commercial teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelWhat you'll get in returnThis is a standout opportunity to join a highly respected contractor delivering some of the most technically demanding data centre and mission‑critical projects across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
