Tax Director – Leading Independent Tax Advisory Firm
Our client is a long-established, highly respected independent tax advisory firm with over 20 years in practice. The firm has a strong reputation for technical excellence and client service, advising across all areas of taxation including corporate and personal tax, international transactions, and succession planning.
Their client base spans the full business spectrum, large Irish and international corporates, family-owned enterprises, professional partnerships, medical consultants, high-net-worth individuals, and business executives. The firm also provides specialist tax support to leading accountancy and legal practices.
The Role
This is a senior appointment for an experienced Tax Director to join the leadership team. The successful candidate will manage key client relationships, lead complex advisory assignments, and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver high-level tax advice across corporate, personal, and international tax matters.
Advise on business restructurings, successions, share transactions, and cross-border issues.
Represent clients in Revenue audits and appeals.
Mentor and develop a team of tax professionals and trainees.
Support the firm’s growth through business development and strategic leadership.
Ensure consistently high professional and technical standards.
The Person
Qualified CTA, ideally also ACA/ACCA qualified.
Minimum 7+ years’ post-qualification experience in a professional tax advisory environment.
Proven ability to lead client engagements and provide commercially focused solutions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Strong technical capability and strategic insight.
