My client — a well-established manufacturer in Athlone — specialises in producing high-quality adhesive and film-based components, are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator on a permanent basis to support their customer operations team.
In this role you will help ensure excellent service, smooth coordination between departments, and accurate handling of customer orders and enquiries.
Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for customers — managing enquiries by phone, email and online.
Process customer orders, returns, service requests and other communications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and update customer records in the company database or CRM system.
Provide administrative support to Customer Service and Sales teams.
Liaise with internal teams (., production, logistics, quality) to help resolve customer queries and ensure timely delivery.
Track customer issues through to resolution; monitor and follow up on open tickets or pending orders.
Prepare reports, summaries, and basic customer-service metrics as needed.
Assist with customer onboarding — providing information about products and services.
Support ongoing improvements in customer service and internal administrative processes.
Requirements Previous experience in customer service, administrative support or office-based roles.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Friendly and clear verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) — experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Professional and positive attitude with good problem-solving skills.
