Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary rehabilitative team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering therapeutic interventions and strategies to clients.
You will work closely with our support team and be actively involved in daily activities. We require someone with strong clinical knowledge, clinical reasoning skills, and evidence-based practice.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification approved by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU and current membership of AOTI and CORU.
* Provide systematic training according to specified curricula and maintain records required for effective monitoring of trainee's progress.
* Maintain records and produce reports on same, effectively communicating verbally and/or in writing, progress results as required.
* Evaluate assess the needs of each trainee Client and produce a profile of those needs in order to support the occupational rehabilitation of each trainee, co-operating fully with the Occupational Therapist of other sections, as required.
* Liaise with academic and administrative staff at ITB, and with Peer-Mentoring Resources.
* Develop curricula and innovative rehabilitation interventions in co-operation with Programme Development and Rehabilitation Officers, meeting the needs of learners.
