We’re looking for a Security Engineer to design, implement, and monitor security systems and policies that protect our platform, data, and customers. You’ll have a significant impact on our infrastructure, operations, and security culture.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement systems to prevent, detect, and respond to security incidents across cloud and application infrastructureLead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews of applications and architectureCollaborate with engineers to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflowsManage and monitor cloud security configurations (AWS) and related toolingDrive our compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) by providing evidence and process improvementsRespond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and prepare incident reportsEducate and train employees on security awareness and best practicesAbout You3+ years of hands-on experience in application or infrastructure securityExperience with cloud platforms, especially AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.)Strong knowledge of network security, secure coding principles, and common vulnerabilities (OWASP, SAST/DAST)Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security tooling integration into CI/CDPractical knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)Strong communication and documentation skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environmentInterview ProcessInitial Screen with the Hiring Manager to share your experience (45 min)Take Home Technical Exercise followed by a live discussion with 1-2 team members to assess your technical ability (1 hour)Check In Call with the Head of People to understand your motivations and expectations (30 minutes)Meet our CTO to discuss Inscribe’s vision and align on values (45 minutes)BenefitsAt Inscribe, we are building a company and culture where everyone can produce their best work.
