Project Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to oversee construction activity in the UK and Ireland, ensuring projects are set up correctly, and are operating in a collective and efficient manner.
* This role will involve managing shared resources and finances to ensure each project is progressing on time and within budget.
* You will oversee coordination with clients and design teams during the planning and design phase to ensure that construction planning meets all stakeholder requirements.
* We require you to develop budgets and manage costs to ensure that construction projects are completed within guidelines.
* You must ensure that all construction projects meet health and safety codes, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and building regulations.
* Making strategic decisions, providing leadership and direction to the project team, to implement those decisions.
* You will implement and define procedures for enhanced performance.
* Ensuring personnel operate to company procedures.
* You will meet with clients, stakeholders and project team to report on project progress.
* Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
* Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
* Work cohesively with Senior Management, on day-to-day operations, while developing future pipeline and growth policies.
Requirements:
* Solid communication skills, with the ability to be assertive, while being diplomatic.
* 10 + years of relevant post-qualification experience, with an appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience in the execution of commercial/retail projects.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and stamp authority on projects.
* Strong IT skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* History of success within the industry.
