Digital Transformation Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT candidate to lead IT strategy, planning, governance, and digital transformation within a regulated Financial Services environment.
This role will ensure IT and digital initiatives are strategically aligned, well-governed, cost-effective, and support both business and innovation objectives. In this role you will lead strategic IT planning, digital transformation governance, and risk oversight.
The role ensures IT investments, cybersecurity priorities, and digital initiatives are aligned with business requirements while encouraging strong governance, continuous improvement and cost transparency across IT.
The Ideal candidate must have
* Strong understanding of IT and cybersecurity frameworks.
* Experience with IT budgeting, roadmap planning, and programme oversight.
* Knowledge of digital transformation technologies (AI, RPA, EUC, automation).
* Familiarity with project management methodologies
* Qualifications to include - PMP / PRINCE2 Certs or equivalent AND AI, RPA, or digital transformation qualifications.
Responsibilities
1. Lead IT strategy, roadmap, investment, and annual budget planning.
2. Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI, and RPA.
3. Maintain IT, Cybersecurity, and Digital Strategy and support programme governance.
And
1. Provide oversight of IT costs, spend tracking, and optimisation opportunities.
2. Maintain IT and cybersecurity risk standards and mitigation tracking.
3. Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and governance processes.
4. Coordinate technology governance forums and support IT committees.
5. Support IT GRC activities, audits, and control effectiveness.
6. Oversee system change, deployment, and approval processes.
Experience
1. Strong experience in IT strategy, planning, and governance.
2. Proven background in IT budgeting, roadmap planning, and portfolio oversight.
3. Knowledge of digital transformation technologies (AI, RPA, automation).
4. Familiarity with project/programme management methodologies.
