Job Description
* Based in Portnahinch, Portarlington, Co. Laois we are a leading engineering company
* We are looking for a HR generalist
* Part time Monday to Friday
* This is on site role, currently NO option for Hybrid due to the nature of both the business and the role
About Your New Role
* This role is a People and Culture Advisor and would suit a candidate who has previous experience in HR or Administrator or Generalist.
* You will assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening and be involved with the interview and offer process.
* Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, job offers, contracts and exit interviews.
* Serve as the primary contact for employee queries, maintaining personnel files and training records. Partner with line managers to address daily HR issues and develop employee engagement and reward programs.
* Keep HR systems updated (Time Management, candidate flows) and provide real-time reports on HR metrics. Stay informed about employment laws and best practices to support the development of HR policies and procedures.
* Provide payroll details to finance team.
* Assist with H&S management at the Factory.
* Complete various administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, and handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
What Skills You Need
* 3 years working in HR within a fast paced environment
* Detailed knowledge relating to People and HR issues
* IT savvy with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and Powerpoint
