We are currently recruiting experienced Chefs for a challenging role within our Healthcare sector. This position requires the ability to work flexibly, often on short notice, and be available for various shifts.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in accordance with current food hygiene regulations and guidelines. They must also ensure all equipment is operated, maintained, and serviced as per manufacturers' instructions and Health & Safety requirements/recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role or industry;
* A level 6 Chef qualification (or equivalent);
This position does not require prior experience working within a healthcare environment; however it is highly desirable
In addition to these essential qualifications we recommend that applicants hold HACCP Level 2 certification along with Manual Handling skills.
Holding up-to-date manual handling training certificates would be seen as beneficial rather than mandatory but preferred if you have obtained any they will certainly count in your favour when going through the hiring process,
