About The Role & Team
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Developer to contribute to a major redesign and modernization project. This is a greenfield initiative focused on building a modern, scalable, microservices‑driven architecture with a strong emphasis on micro‑frontend patterns and a next‑generation user experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks—primarily React—and demonstrable experience designing and delivering UI solutions within distributed, cloud‑ready architectures.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain rich, responsive user interfaces using React and micro‑frontend architectures.
Collaborate closely with architects, backend engineers, and UX teams to implement UI components aligned with product requirements and system design.
Apply solid application design principles and patterns to create scalable, maintainable, and testable UI solutions.
Contribute to the evolution of a microservices‑based application ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration between front‑end and backend services.
Develop technical designs for small to medium‑scale systems or for features within large applications.
Evaluate and articulate the trade‑offs and risks associated with technical decisions, tools, and implementation approaches.
Ensure high code quality using modern development practices, including GitHub Copilot, pair programming, and AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Vibe coding workflows).
Utilize cloud technologies—preferably Microsoft Azure—to support deployment, scalability, and performance of UI services.
Follow best practices for version control, source code management, and collaborative development using Git and GitHub.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decision‑making.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
Strong proficiency in React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and component‑based UI architecture.
Hands‑on experience with micro frontends and distributed UI composition patterns.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and how front‑end applications integrate with distributed backend systems.
Demonstrated ability to apply software design concepts such as modularity, separation of concerns, and design patterns.
Experience working with Azure or similar cloud environments.
Advanced knowledge of version control and collaborative development workflows (Git/GitHub).
Strong understanding of standard software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Ability to design and develop solutions for small to medium systems, or contribute effectively to large‑scale application features.
Clear understanding of technical trade‑offs, performance considerations, and risk impacts in front‑end engineering decisions.
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, AI‑assisted development tools, and modern collaborative coding methods.
NICE-TO-HAVE
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for UI deployments.
Knowledge of UX principles and usability best practices.
Exposure to containerized application environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
