Clinical Lead Nurse Specialist Job Overview
The primary goal of this role is to provide expert care and support to children undergoing lower limb surgeries and general orthopaedic procedures, with a focus on Spina Bifida patients.
As Clinical Lead Nurse Specialist, you will play a key leadership role in the multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to children referred to the Orthopaedic Service.
* Ensure expertise in specialty practice by staying up-to-date with evidence-based care standards.
* Foster a coordinated service that optimises support and continuity of care for patients with spinal disorders.
* Provide OPD clinic support, consultation, and telephone liaison to support patient and family needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
* Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting.
* Maintain expertise in Children's nursing with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
* Be eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be registered.
