Your role as Team Lead for the Network Projects Ireland team will involve working collaboratively across the organisation to transform the Power System for future generations. Successful delivery of Large-Scale Strategic Infrastructure Projects is central to the achievement of our transition to a low carbon future.
You will support the Head of Network Projects Ireland in leading a team of project managers to deliver on a range of complex, large scale Technical Projects through the project delivery framework.
You will Programme Manage a portfolio of Network Development Projects, ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place within the team having regard to budgets, schedule, quality, risk and overall prioritisation.
Responsibilities:
* Communicate effectively to stakeholders, including Senior Management Team, via meetings, presentations, and reports for project governance gateways.
* Represent the company externally, engaging in external forums and bodies as appropriate.
* Lead Strategic, Change related projects as well as foster the adoption of a proactive Stakeholder Engagement approach and the development of high-performance capabilities and behaviours.
Requirements:
* An engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 8 years relevant experience
* Proven experience of managing a programme of Large-scale Projects – overseeing the delivery of complex solutions and an ability to drive successful outcomes.
* Passionate, engaging with a drive and enthusiasm to deliver with and through others.
* Ability to coach and develop high performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environment.
* Expertise in conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things to solve business problems, collaborating with business experts along the way.
