At ORBCOMM, we’re fueled by creativity, data, and a customer-first mindset. As our Marketing Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth through planning and executing strategic events and campaigns in the EMEA and APAC markets.
You will manage the planning, execution, and logistics of tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, and association memberships to support key marketing initiatives, including new market entry and product launches.
With a flexible hybrid working schedule, you can enjoy the best of both worlds—engaging in-person collaboration at our Galway, Ireland office, while also enjoying the autonomy of remote work.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop and lead event strategies from planning through to execution, including industry tradeshows, customer events, workshops, and roadshows.
* Manage all event phases including logistics, internal and external communications, marketing materials, staffing, and post-event activities.
* Research and identify speaking opportunities to enhance ORBCOMM’s thought leadership and industry presence.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners, including sourcing and contract negotiation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, and executive teams to define event goals, develop booth assets, create promotional materials, and coordinate advertising.
* Own the event calendar and detailed project timelines, ensuring alignment with broader campaign strategies.
* Create, manage, and reconcile budgets for each event.
* Analyze and report on post-event success through metrics such as lead generation, ROI, attendee feedback, and market insights.
* Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all events and campaigns to enhance ORBCOMM’s visibility and image globally.
Who You Are:
* 5+ years of experience in event and campaign management in a fast-paced B2B or tech environment.
* Experience managing virtual, in-person, and hybrid events.
* Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confident, proactive, and comfortable communicating with senior leadership and external partners.
* Self-starter with strong time management abilities.
Additional Requirements:
* Willing and available to travel nationally and internationally, approximately 25% of the time, based on event schedules.
