We have been engaged by our client, an established law firm, regarding a new opportunity for a Private Client/Probate Solicitor.
Ideally you will have 3 – 6 years PQE and the emphasis is on Probate experience.
Experience required.
Acting for individuals in a wide range of private client matters including:
· acquisition and sale of residential properties,
· drafting wills and advising clients on the CAT implications of same,
· obtaining grants of probate/letters of administration and administering estates.
Probate experience
· Conduct meetings with clients and legal personal representatives.
· Administration and distribution of Estates
· Applications for Grant of Probate
· Draft and prepare CA24's, Oath of Executor/Administrator and administration Bonds;
· Draft and register Enduring Powers of Attorney.
· Knowledge in Estate Planning providing practical and Tax efficient advice to clients
· Ideally a member of Society of Trust and Estate Planning (STEP)
Candidates will need the ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
