If you think you have what it takes and are looking for a new challenge with an opportunity to build a long term career then we look forward to hearing from you.Find out more at Role: Production PlannerOverall Objective: To ensure the effective planning, organization and coordination of production schedules.Hours: 39 hours per week; Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pmResponsibilities & Duties:Define monthly production plans based on customer forecasts with the understanding of operational constraintsCreate weekly production plans in the ERP system and track production variancesKeep Production Manager and Operations Manager informed of production plan and any potential bottlenecksWork closely with production and engineering to accommodate fast track customer orders or prototypesDefine inventory plans to demonstrate accurate planningGenerate purchase requisitions and ensure availability of material to meet production planningWork closely with procurement personnel to consider external vendor inputs and outputs to determine options for component managementManagement of relevant KPIs whilst leading and participating in continuous improvementSupport the development of any future improvements to the planning processAll other duties as reasonably requiredQualifications & Experience:At least 3 years' experience in a planning/scheduling role, preferably in the manufacturing sectorsVery good IT skills with a strong emphasis on Microsoft ExcelExperience with ERP systems (Epicor desirable)Third level Business or Supply Chain qualification (desirable)Person/Skills Required:Excellent time management, organisation and planning ability; capable of multitasking and dealing with competing priorities within tight deadlines.Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholdersDetail focussed with strong analytical thinkingBenefits package includes:Competitive Salary (DOE)Bonus (dependent on company performance)PensionLife InsuranceCycle to work schemeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €42,000.00-€47,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Dundalk, CO.
