Kitting & Fulfilment Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Kitting & Fulfilment Coordinator to join our growing operations team. This role is central to ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely fulfilment of customer orders while supporting the wider kitting and warehouse teams.
Core Responsibilities
· Coordinate the end-to-end order fulfilment process, from order entry through to final shipment.
· Track progress of jobs and proactively address delays or discrepancies.
· Assist the Kitting Manager in monitoring the productivity of temporary staff, ensuring jobs are delivered on time and within budget.
· Prepare shipping labels and documentation using standard logistics and courier platforms.
· Liaise with carriers to schedule collections and resolve delivery issues.
· Update internal systems with accurate order, inventory, and shipment information.
· Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure correct picking, packing, and job completion.
· Monitor stock levels and alert relevant teams regarding shortages or backorders.
· Maintain fulfilment logs, KPIs, and daily operational reports.
· Receive training from the Kitting Manager and IT (as needed) to generate sales quotations in SAP, receive stock, and complete job dispatches.
· Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards, and shipping regulations.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all kitting areas, ensuring lines are clear of waste materials.
· Complete line clearances and ensure work areas are cleaned and reset before beginning new jobs.
· Ensure all customer-specific checklists are completed at the start and end of every job.
Required Skills & QualificationsHard Skills
· Experience with warehouse or fulfilment management systems (WMS).
· Familiarity with major shipping platforms (DPD, UPS, DHL, etc.).
· Basic understanding of inventory control, stock management, and order processing.
· Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel.
· Fork-truck licence (valid).
Soft Skills
· Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
· Clear, confident communication with internal teams and external partners.
· High attention to detail across fulfilment tasks and documentation.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
· Strong problem-solving and prioritisation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
· 2–3 years' experience in warehousing, logistics, or eCommerce fulfilment.
· Leaving Certificate or higher.
· Familiarity with ERP or order management systems (e.g., SAP).
· Experience working in high-volume or seasonal fulfilment environments.
· Understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards.
