Job Description
The role of Clinical Director for the Irish Surgical Trials and Research network is a key position that requires leadership and coordination skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan to drive the I-STAR network activities, leading the I-STAR trials and research program across the Irish surgical community, and establishing governance structures and quality assurance processes.
* Consultant Surgeon with a strong track record of developing and delivering surgical research studies
* Experience in leading collaborative inter-institutional clinical trials and research
* Knowledge of the existing healthcare and clinical trial infrastructure in Ireland
