Job Title – Site Manager
Project – Residential (Apartments)
Job Location – Meath
Salary – €55K-€65K
About the Company
Busy Medium Sized contractor who specialises in residential & commercial projects in North Leinster. The successful candidate will be managing two blocks of apartments from initial stages to handover.
The Role
* Coordination and supervision of the construction of a residential development.
* Oversee and manage the construction of a residential projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
* Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
* Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
* Perform company compliance and administration procedures and record performance and progress of site operations.
* Carry out administration duties as required e.g. site/ whiteboard meetings, update site diary, some BCAR and H&S duties etc.
* Attend meetings with Senior Management, Design Teams and Clients to update them on the progress and status of the project.
Requirements
* A Degree in Construction Management or similar.
* A minimum of 10 years proven experience with a main contractor.
* Engineering background is desirable or relevant trade experience.
* Experience Managing the construction of an apartment project.
* Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
* Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
