An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
HR Generalist
to join a well-established, people-focused organisation operating within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role would suit an HR professional with 3–4 years' experience who is looking to step into a broad, hands-on generalist position where they can build strong relationships, deepen their operational HR experience, and progress their career within a supportive HR team.
HR Generalist | South Dublin (onsite / hybrid) | Fulltime | 18 month FTC
The Role
Reporting into a senior HR leader, you will support the delivery of a full HR generalist service across the business. You will work closely with managers and employees, acting as a trusted first point of contact while also contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives.
This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, balancing operational HR with continuous improvement and people development.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical, solutions-focused advice
* Support managers with employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance processes
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for assigned areas, including onboarding and probation management
* Support the delivery of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and best practice
* Maintain accurate HR records and support HR reporting and audits
* Contribute to engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities and internal communications
* Assist with learning and development coordination and performance review cycles
* Support HR projects such as process improvements, system updates and organisational initiatives
About You
* 3–4 years' experience in a generalist HR role
* Background in manufacturing, retail, logistics or another complex, high-headcount environment would be ideal
* Solid working knowledge of Irish employment legislation
* Proven experience supporting employee relations cases end-to-end
* CIPD qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable
* Confident communicator who can build credibility with managers and employees
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Proactive, hands-on and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
