We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our manufacturing planning strategy forward. As a Senior Mfg Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning function at our Clonmel manufacturing plant, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and ensuring seamless execution of production plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the SI&OP process for the Clonmel manufacturing site
* Manage supply chain and planning activities, ensuring optimal inventory levels and meeting site goals
* Collaborate with the planning team to establish committed build plans and ensure detailed production plans align with these commitments
* Mentor and coach employees to drive results through modelling of right behaviours
* Foster an inclusive workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
* Develop and maintain effective processes for analysis and reporting of business performance metrics
* Interface with GSC and plant-based capacity planning groups to drive supply chain improvements and support customer service or business objectives
* Support Materials Director in preparation of summary analysis reports and presentations
* Monitor customer demand patterns and use this information to inform inventory target setting
* Ensure effective inventory management and control in line with company targets
* Support R&D activities, new product introductions, product recertification and product rationalisation initiatives
* Continuously examine and demonstrate process improvements and minimize cycle times
* Manage departmental financial budgets and set aggressive goals that support the plant's current and future objectives
* Lead a team in achievement of organisational goals and guide, coach, direct and develop direct reports
* Drive practices throughout the organisation and foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organisational objectives
Requirements:
* 5+ years' professional experience in a senior planning role
* Level 8 Hons Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Science or applicable field required
* Working knowledge of ERP systems and broader application ecosystem combined with knowledge of key business processes
* Ability to shape, establish, communicate and engage teams in business vision and strategy
