Reporting to the CEO, the Business Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy across the group to drive alignment, efficiency, and accountability.
This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping how the business functions day to day, ensuring robust systems and processes underpin commercial performance, patient outcomes, and team development.
Working closely with senior leadership, the Business Manager will take ownership of business planning, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making and consistent delivery across all sites.
In addition, the Business Manager will oversee the groups operational performance, support project delivery, and drive key business initiatives that improve both commercial and patient outcomes.
They will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, contributing to strategic decision-making, managing complex projects, and ensuring initiatives are executed effectively across the business.
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to operational management, and should possess the following skills and experience: Significant experience in a senior operations or multi-site management role within a community pharmacy, healthcare, or retail/service environment.
Proven success in commercial performance, P&L management, and operational leadership.
Experience in developing and embedding systems, frameworks, or business operating models.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Excellent organisational, communication, and project delivery skills.
Experience within the healthcare or community pharmacy sector and prior involvement in scaling a multi-site business would be highly desirable.
It is also desirable to have experience with a business operating system or similar framework.
