This role coordinates documentation, prototypes, testing, and cross-functional communication to ensure new lighting products are developed efficiently, meet quality standards, and are ready for manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport NPD projects from concept, prototype, pilot build, and production releaseAssist with coordination of prototypes, samples, and pre-production buildsPrepare and maintain product documentation including BOMs, drawings, work instructions, and specificationsLiaise with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to support product launchesAssist with testing and validation of lighting productsTrack project timelines, actions, and deliverables for NPD projectsSupport design changes and product updates during developmentHelp manage supplier samples and component approvals (LEDs, drivers, optics, housings)Participate in design reviews and production readiness meetingsEnsure compliance with relevant lighting standards and certifications (e.g., CE, UL, IEC, RoHS)Qualifications & ExperienceQualification in engineering, product design, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in a manufacturing or NPD environment preferredBasic understanding of lighting products, electronics, or mechanical assembliesAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsStrong organisational and documentation skillsGood communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallySkills & CompetenciesProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/MRP systems a plusFamiliarity with CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) advantageousAttention to detail and structured approach to workAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesProblem-solving mindset with willingness to learnJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to €38,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Mullan, County Monaghan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
