As an accounts assistant you will be focused on Accounts Receivable, daily cash reconciliations, debtor management, and revenue reporting.

What Youll Be Doing
AR, Debtors & Cash Control (Core Focus)
Complete daily cash and credit card reconciliations across PMS/POS/bank records & reconciliation of income audit
Manage Accounts Receivable processes and maintain an accurate debtor ledger
Review aged debtors, follow up overdue balances, and escalate risk accounts
Record and monitor all house account adjustments and ensure that each transaction is properly authorised and has relevant explanations.
Investigate variances, over/shorts, chargebacks as well as respond to all credit card enquiries and support timely resolution
Maintain daily cash books and control files to a high standard
Reporting, Forecasting & Finance Support
Assist with daily/weekly revenue reporting and management packs
Support short-term cashflow forecasting with expected receipts tracking
Help prepare reconciliation schedules and month-end support files
Provide ad hoc support across AP and general finance as required
Team & Standards
Work closely with operations, front office, reservations, sales, and finance teams
Handle all financial information with strict confidentiality
Support continuous improvement in finance controls and processes
What Were Looking For
Experience in an accounts/finance role (hospitality experience is an advantage)
Strong AR/reconciliation/debtor follow-up skills
High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
Good Excel skills and comfort with finance systems
Organised, proactive, and deadline-focused
Positive team player with strong communication skills
Willingness to support AP and month-end tasks as business needs require
Interest in learning and progressing within finance
