Upington Limited is seeking a Business and Financial Analyst to support business planning, financial analysis, and operational decision‑making. The role involves analysing financial and business data, preparing reports, and supporting management with forecasting and budgeting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
* Assist in preparing financial models and variance analysis
* Monitor business performance and identify trends and risks
* Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and credit requests, including new applications and annual due diligence.
* Develop dashboards, KPI tracking systems, and performance reports using Excel and BI tools.
* Perform root‑cause analysis and present insights to management for strategic decision‑making.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
