They are looking to recruit an Immigration Solicitor to join their busy team.ResponsibilitiesManaging a full caseload of active immigration filesDaily legal advice consultations in the area of immigration lawPreparing and drafting immigration applications to the Department of Justice and other relevant bodiesPreparing and drafting employment permit applications to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and EmploymentIssuing Judicial Review proceedings and managing Judicial Review filesAttending court in person or remotelyUpdating precedent libraryTraining caseworkers and support assistantsRequired skillsPrevious experience working as a solicitor in the area of immigration law/international protection/human rights essentialPrevious experience in litigation will be preferredExcellent knowledge of immigration law and practice in IrelandStrong work ethic, hard working, pro active and attention for detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAn ability to manage a very busy workload and meet deadlinesBe very well organised in all aspects of a fast paced, multi tasked roleAn ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamWillingness to constantly learn from working with experienced team members, keeping up to date with caselaw, attending CPD events and conferences, etc.
