Children and Young People Support Worker
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate support worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and young people living in residential care.
This role requires an individual who can build trusting relationships, support daily routines, and promote independence through trauma-informed approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish safe and supportive environments for children and young people.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
* Support education, self-care, and independent living skills development.
Requirements:
* Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care or equivalent CORU registration.
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, attachment theory, and child development principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
