* 5+ years' relevant experience in environmental compliance, auditing or sustainability
* Deep knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks in Ireland & the EU
* Demonstrated project leadership and ability to manage emergency environmental response
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate at all levels
* Third-level qualification or equivalent experience in an environmental discipline
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the Environmental Assurance & Compliance Manager, the role sits within the Sustainability and Environmental Team. Responsibilities include:
* Audit Management – Lead the delivery of environmental audits, including oversight of regional advisors
* Incident Response – Take ownership of emergency environmental incident remediation nationwide
* EMS Support – Maintain and develop systems and registers to support environmental compliance
* Documentation – Oversee quality control for environmental documentation and reporting
* Complaint Resolution – Manage external environmental complaints (e.g. noise, odour) in consultation with internal and external teams
* Procedure Development – Create and refine internal processes for environmental audits and emergency response
* Tender Support – Lead on tender preparation for environmental services and consultancy contracts
* Collaboration – Partner with regional teams and share knowledge to drive environmental best practice
